When Jerry Seinfeld created the sitcom Seinfeld, it was an instant success. The stand-up comedian and actor, together with the rest of the crew, made the audience laugh for nine years. There were some rumors Seinfeld was offered $5 million per episode but he turned the offer down so the series would continue filming. However, he still earned $1 million per episode which might have left his accountant gasping for air!
