Ek pyaar kaa nagmaa hai, maujo kee rawaanee hain
jindagee aaur kuchh bhee nahee, teree meree kahaanee hain
kuchh paakar khonaa hai, kuchh khokar paanaa hain
jeewan kaa matalab to, aanaa aaur jaanaa hain
do pal ke jeewan se, yek umar churaanee hain
too dhaar hain nadiyaa kee, main teraa kinaaraa hoo
too meraa sahaaraa hai, main teraa sahaaraa hoo
aakhon mein samandar hai, aashaaon kaa paanee hain
tufaan to aanaa hai, aa kar chale jaanaa hain
baadal hain ye kuchh pal kaa, chhaa kar dhal jaanaa hain
parachhaeeyaan rah jaatee, rah jaatee nishaanee hain

LYRICS BELOW karisma kapoor manoj bajpaj FIZA
Badtamizi Pe Ham Aa Gaye To
Now That Incivility Has Overwhelmed Me,
Tum Sharifon Ka Phir Kya Hoga
What Will Happen To You Ladies And Gentlemen?
Hai Shishe Ke Ghar Tumhaare
Your House Is Made Of Glass;
Maara Patthar To Phir Kya Hoga
If I Threw A Stone, What Would Happen?
Naachuun...
I'll Dance...
Aankh Milaayuungi Aankh Churaayuungi
I'll Meet Your Eyes And Look Away;
Dil Tarpaayuungi Hosh Uraayuungi
I'll Make Hearts Long And Steal Away Yourwits.
Sabko Manaa Luungi Sab Ruuth Gaye To Kya
I'll Please Everyone; And If You All Takeoffense, So What?
Main Naachuun Bin Paayal Ghunghru Tuutgaye To Kya...
I'll Dance Without Anklets; So What Ifmy Ankle Bells Broke?
Naachuun...
I'll Dance...
Aankh Milaayuungi Aankh Churaayuungi
I'll Meet Your Eyes And Look Away;
Kuchh Mushkil Thi Meri Zara Der Se Aayihuun
I Had Some Difficulties; I Arrived A Littlelate;
Lekin Main Muhabbat Ke Nazaron Ne Laayihuun
But I Have Brought Looks Of Love.
Kuchh Mushkil Thi Meri Zara Der Se Aayihuun
I Had Some Difficulties; I Arrived A Littlelate;
Lekin Main Muhabbat Ke Nazaron Ne Laayihuun
But I Have Brought Looks Of Love.
Dil Kaanch To Hote Hain Yeh Tuut Gaye Tokya
Your Hearts Are Crude And Small; So Whatif They Break?
Main Naachuun Bin Paayal Ghunghru Tuutgaye To Kya...
I'll Dance Without Anklets; So What Ifmy Ankle Bells Broke?
Naachuun...
I'll Dance...
Maanake Duniya Mein Har Qadam Pe Dhoka Hai
Understanding That Every Step In This Worldmeets With Betrayal,
Auron Pe Nahin Lekin Mujhe Khud Pe Bharosahai
I Have Faith In Myself, But Not In Others.

I'll Dance...
Maanake Duniya Mein Har Qadam Pe Dhoka Hai
Understanding That Every Step In This Worldmeets With Betrayal,
Auron Pe Nahin Lekin Mujhe Khud Pe Bharosahai
Not In Others, But In Myself I Have Faith.
Jo Kachche Dhaage The Vo Tuut Gaye To Kya
Those Which Were Raw Threads, So What Ifthey Break?
Main Naachuun Bin Paayal Ghunghru Tuutgaye To Kya...

Mohammed Rafi (Hindi: मोहम्मद रफ़ी, Urdu: محمد رفیع; December 24, 1924 July 31, 1980), often addressed as Rafi Sahib, was an Indian playback singer whose career spanned four decades and is one of the most versatile male singers in the history of Indian cinema. Rafi sang in many Indian languages including Hindi, Urdu, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi, Sindhi, Kannada and Telugu. He also recorded English and Persian songs. He is primarily remembered, however, for his Hindi songs, which still remain very popular in India today and also among the Indian diaspora. He dominated the Bollywood music industry from the 1950s to the 1970s along with Mukesh, Manna Dey, and Kishore Kumar.
Between 1950 and 1970, Rafi was one of the most sought after singers in Bollywood.
In 1965, he was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Sri award.
On Thursday, July 31, 1980, Rafi died at 10:50 p.m., following a massive heart attack. His last song was "Shaam phir kyun udaas hai dost" (Aas Paas), which he had recorded with Laxmikant-Pyarelal couple of days before his death. He was survived by four sons (Saeed Rafi, Khalid Rafi, Hamid Rafi, Shahid Rafi), 3 daughters (Parveen, Nasreen, Yasmin) and 18 grandchildren. Naushad wrote on Rafi's Death- " Goonjte hai teri awaz ameero ke mahal me. jhopro ki gharibon me bhi hay tere saaz, yu to apne mousiki par sab ka fakr hota hai magar ay mere saathi mousiki ko bhi aaz tujh paar naaz hai "
Rafi's funeral procession was recorded on a very rainy day in Mumbai. A portion of that same recording has been used in one of the Hindi movie released later. It was one of the biggest funeral processions mumbai had ever witnessed, with over 10,000 people attending.
The Padma Shri Mohammed Rafi Chowk in the Bandra suburb of Mumbai is named after Rafi. Lata Mangeshkar quotes on Rafi- " saral man ke insan Rafisab, bahut suriley the, yea meri khus kismati hai ke maine unke saath sabse jada gana gaye. gana kaise bhi wo aise ga lete the ke gana na samajhne wale bhi bah bah kar utht te the. Aise gayak bar bar janam nahi lete."
A documentary about Rafis life is under production by The Films Division of India.
On September 22, 2007 a shrine to Rafi designed by artist Tasawar Bashir was unveiled in Birmingham. Bashir is hoping that Rafi will attain sainthood as a result.
Awards; * 2001 - Rafi was honored with the "best singer of the millennium" by Hero Honda and Stardust magazine in Mumbai on Jan 7, 2001.
