Story: Major Lathi (Alok Nath) is a leader and trainer of NCC (National Cadet Corps) college students. He loves the young student Karan (Govinda) and his friends like his own children. The police commissioner Tiwari (Anupam Kher), the best Major's friend, has a daughter Pooja (Divya Bharti), who is in love with her classmate Karan. Both want to marry each other, but Pooja's father dont approve of their wish. Bali (Mohnish Behl), the arrogant younger brother of a gangster meets Pooja and also falls in love with her. Bali wants to finish Karan off..

Vipul Shah has done some really impressive work as a filmmaker in the past(Waqt,Namaste London, Singh Is Kinng). But his latest outing as a filmmaker 'London Dreams' comes up as his careers weakest fare. The story is about how success turns friendship into hatred. The first hour is boring, The second hour is better; but again the climax is horrendous. This is a musical but the music by Shankar-Eshaan-Loy is terrible. Not a single song stays in your mind.Salman is superb though. He carries the film on his shoulders. But again his character makes him look like a retard in the end. Ajay is equally good.Asin and Om Puri are wasted.
London Dreams is ultimately a tiresome watch. I'm going with two out of five and at best an average rating for director Vipul Shah's London Dreams.
