Name: David McEachnie aka Royal Dainties
Royal Dainties was the blessing that was bestowed unto the ASHER tribe which represents December coincidently the same month David McEachnie was blessed on this earth, and started his spiritual journey.
Royal Dainties' inspiration for singing came at an early age while attending school in Trinidad & Tobago. His admiration for classic reggae singers such as Pablo Moses, Bob Marley, Jah Mason ,Jah Cure as well as his appreciation for the Rockers,Roots & Culture Reggae helped to trigger that spiritual fire growing inside him. This passion for music evolved into his conscious lyrical message in his songs. He was also fond of local Trinidadian musician Oliver Chapmans musial style and melody.
As a Trinidadian Dainties is proud to be singing Reggae music because it is an inspiration to the people of the Ghetto". He says "it speaks for and to all people". In times of trials and tribulation, Royal Dainties found solace through reggae and felt it was used as Gods tool to keep him grounded; also release his musical creativity through his personal life experiences.
Dainties believes that God is using him as an instrument to bring a message to the youth through reggae music. He is a self-proclaimed songwriter, to songs such as Holy, Mama its alright, Girl from California and a lot more that will be featured in his upcoming album. He has worked with producers such as Carl Beaver Henderson, Lion King, Chalice and the original ganja farmer himself - Mr Marlon Asher.
Currently Royal Dainties is touring with the Hi Grade Family which includes Marlon Asher. He has performed in most Caribbean islands like Grenada and Antigua just to name a few. He has performed with Marlon Asher opening for Damien "Jr. Gong" Marley and made his international debut at the Montreal International Reggae Festival on July 14, 2006.

Denyse Plummer is a calypso singer from Trinidad and Tobago. The blue-eyed daughter of a white father and black mother, she initially had trouble being taken seriously as a performer in a genre traditionally seen as Afro-Caribbean, but was eventually recognized as a leading calypso performerDenyse Plummer is always a burst of energy when she ascends the stage. She has been successfuly churning out hits after hits since her debut in 1986.
Before entering the calypso world however, Plummer was well known as a pop singer at intimate pubs and hotels throughout the country.
Her debut in calypso was bitter sweet since she found herself at the end of an unappreciative audience at Skinner Park who hurled scores of oranges and toilet paper rolls at her during a performance. But Plummer weathered the storm and now has many achievements to prove it, including multiple Calypso Queen titles.
She is the first female calypsonian to ever win the Young King competition and has made it to Calypso Monarch finals in 1988, 1989, 1991. But, more recently (in 2001) took home the coveted title for the first time.
Denyse Plummer is only the 3rd female ever to win in the history of the competition.
..................................................................This past Carnival season, Sally Sagram was a back up singer for the former Calypso Monarch Denise Plummer and she was the only chutney star featured in Ladies Night Out. An extremely talented singer who has travelled extensively, Sally is one of the most sought after chutney singers in the country.
She was on the forefront on the chutney arena with the Spread Pal Crew of St Helena. However, one year ago she parted ways with the band to pursue a solo career.
Going solo was my only option at the time. I had to increase my repertoire and include some pop, rock and R&B songs for my fans out there, she explained.

.DENISE BELFON
She's now rated as One of the Caribbean's Hottest Artistes. Known to her fans as "Saucy Wow" for her energetic, scintillating performances, she has also earned the titles of Soca Diva and Caribbean Soca Dancehall Queen.
Her stunning stage act and music has been seen and heard by audiences throughout the Caribbean, across North America, even across the Atlantic in London, wherever the Caribbean diaspora can be found. Over the years she has also become a favourite with the US College circuit. Just plug her name into any search engine on the Internet, you are guaranteed to get over 700 hits.
With her long awaited debut album scheduled to be released in November 2004, it is without a doubt that she is poised to take the world by storm. Indeed, the time has come to show the world what Denise 'Saucy Wow' Belfon is all about.
Denise Ann Sinoda Belfon was born on November 23, 1968 in Trinidad and Tobago. As a young girl in school, she was a football player, and was even offered a scholarship to Howard University to join the all Girls football team. However, an injury at the time prevented her from taking up the opportunity.
Denise's other love from an early age was the arts. She has been singing since the age of 9, and has also been a dancer and a model. When she was not in the spotlight, Denise taught gymnastics at the Belmont Junior Secondary school and at the YMCA.
In 1990, Denise was discovered by the bandleader of Roy Cape. She started singing professionally with the band Black Sheep, before moving on to Sound Revolution. Her first solo recording was the soca hit "Ka Ka Lay Lay".
Since then, Denise has gone on to become the most forceful female solo act in the Caribbean, having recorded a string of hit singles: Hard Wuk", "De Jammette", "Saucy Baby", and "Indian Man", that continue to draw frenzy from audiences and partygoers across the Caribbean and in the diaspora.
These songs and many others have earned Denise the rank as one of the Caribbean's top talents.
"After I started with the band Black Sheep, I was encouraged by the performances of Super Blue and Denise Plummer to pursue a solo career. I would also say that Aretha Franklin, Billie Halliday and Mahalia Jackson have been my musical influences since I started in this business. Their work has always intrigued me."

Neeshan D Hitman Prabhoo
- Whole Day Liming
Neeshan Prabhoo has been slowly rising over the last five years. This year, the 30-year-old from Todds Roads, Central, takes aim at the crown with Whole Day Liming, a song that is also called trouble. Trudy Parboo, his publicist, said the song was written by Prabhoo and speaks about a man liming all day and decides to run away from stress after a family argument. Parboo said DHitman has been to the finals in 2008 with Drunk and Married, a song he recorded with Dile-e-Nadan.
DHitman also appeared on the big stage in 2005 and 2007. Doh Hold Me Back was his first chutney song that was recorded in 1997. Prabhoo took a break from singing and recorded his most sought-after tune, More Rum For Me, better known as Listen Mr Shanka in 2004.

It is quite amazing the kind of talent that continue to emerge in Trinidad when you consider the absence of any institutions for grooming such talent. It is also quite amazing, the talent that comes from many families in our blessed land. I am sure you have heard of Ras Nancoo Singh, certainly one of our living legends in songs. Ras is also responsible of providing to Trinidad and the world two brilliant sons Ian and Andy. Ian now resides in Toronto, Andy lives in Trinidad and every weekend is in every nook and cranny entertaining his hordes of fans with his melodious voice.
Andy is a proud son of the little village known as Rambert situated just on the outskirts of San Fernando. He was born on the 28th of July 1969.He career began quite surprisingly only in 1991. In 1992 he was already a force to be reckoned with reaching the finals of the first ever Film and Chutney Finals. In 1994 he entered Mastana Bahar and reached the finals where he placed fourth. In his relatively short career he has performed with most of the top bands, Gayatones, D Rampersad and presently is the lead singer with the SSL MELOBUGZ Orchestra.
Andy recently joined the band KARMA.
He has represented Trinidad in several inter-national venues, Miami, New York, Washington, New Jersey, Toronto, Montreal and the Caribbean.
He is currently employed as a salesman with a leading Industrial firm Southern Supplies Limited as a marketing representative.
He is eternally grateful for the support and guidance that he received from his dad Ras, mom and his charming wife Sherry who supports him in all his endeavors. Andys inspiration comes from his three daughters- Ahalia, Selena and Selest. He adores his fans both here and abroad and cherishes their admiration. His mission is to bring the people together through song and is hoping that peace and unity prevails.
Nisha Bissambhar at the age of 15 made a decision that forever changed her life - a decision to sing. At that point she was still at high-school - a (forth form) student of the Lakshmi Girls Hindu College. From then on Nisha has continued following up her dream as a singer and since then has achieved nearly all heights of her singing.
In 1995 Nisha entered the first ever series of The Children of Mastana where she placed 2nd on a number of consecutive times. A year later she was a grand finalist in Mastana Bahar where she was placed 6th. She was later awarded The Contribution to Youth Excellence by Jamal Mohammed for Children of Mastana. She was then given the task amongst other top local young artistes to judge for the competition. This was done for two years.
She went on to successfully complete her studies at her High School with distinctions in English Language subjects. She continued her education upliftment by assigning herself to a number of studies, mainly computer literacy. She worked at the Republic Bank of Trinidad and Toabgo and at present she is currently pursueing her dream as a radio broadcaster and is a trainee at Radio 90.1 FM.
In 1999, Nisha's song The Scorpion took Trinidad by storm and was eventually voted as the 2nd best song of the Millennium. She also did three CDs - Music to Make you Dance; Chutney Y2K Virus and High Energy, all of which were done together with her home band.
